WE-COM moves into first office in Newcastle city centre

We’re excited to share another significant milestone for WE-COM as we’ve officially moved into our first ever office.

The business had been based out of a shared co-working space until now, but we reached a natural point at which it made sense to take on a space that was truly our own. As the team, client base, and ambitions have continued to grow, so too has the need for an environment that reflects how we actually work.

The new office gives us somewhere permanent to grow, with hiring plans on the horizon as we look ahead to 2026 and beyond. It also provides a stable foundation for the agency’s next phase, supporting day-to-day delivery alongside clients, partners, and our community of freelancers.

The decision backs up an office-first hybrid working approach we’ve been committed to since launch, with a strong emphasis on in-person collaboration, shared energy and momentum, whilst still offering genuine flexibility.

Tom Etherington, founder of WE-COM, said: “Moving into our own office is a significant step, especially within the first 12 months of launching the agency.”

“It gives us a place to collaborate with clients and partners, and we’ve got some big plans for next year, so the office is the perfect place to start that next chapter.”

James, our Strategy & Delivery Director, captured some of the behind-the-scenes from our move-in day:

Follow us on LinkedIn for updates on our growing agency, where we’ll share insights and news as we look to take WE-COM even further in our second year.

For now, all that’s left to say is a huge thank you to the people, clients and partners that have helped us get to this point. We’ll be wrapping up 2025 over the coming days, but our sights are firmly set on January and what’s to come next.
